1. Data controller

The controller of personal data collected on Aura Influences (“Aura”) is Jonathan Pugnat, reachable at jonathanpugnat@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

Aura only collects data needed to operate the service:

• Email address and user profile (via Clerk)
• Attributes of the virtual influencers you create
• Generated content (photos, videos, captions) and their metadata
• Billing history (via Stripe; card details are not stored by us)
• Social accounts you choose to connect (handles only)
• Technical logs (IP, user-agent) for security and debugging

3. Purposes

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Provide the service (generate content, manage your influencer catalog)
• Manage your subscription and billing
• Publish to your social accounts only if you explicitly allow it
• Improve the product (aggregated, anonymous analysis)

No data is sold to commercial third parties.

4. Subprocessors

Aura relies on the following subprocessors, who process your data under their own policies:

• Clerk — authentication (USA, SOC 2 certified)
• Stripe — payments (Ireland/USA, PCI-DSS certified)
• Neon — database (EU, Frankfurt hosting)
• Vercel — application hosting (USA/EU)
• Cloudflare R2 — generated image storage
• Replicate, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Google — AI models (prompts are sent to their APIs)
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — only if you enable the Instagram integration

5. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. After you delete your account, all data is erased within 30 days, except accounting records retained for 10 years under the French Commercial Code.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, objection, portability and erasure. To exercise them, see our data deletion page or write to jonathanpugnat@gmail.com.

You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority).

7. Cookies

Aura only uses cookies strictly required to operate (Clerk session, UI preferences). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are set.
